How old is the person who posted recovering from the surgery. I applaud you by the way for your bravery. I hope you are better and on your feet very soon. My daughter was born with accondroplasia and is planning to have the surgery from Dr. Paley in one year. She will be 8. Any advice?

This is all true Ive done it. Its a very hard thing to go through but it worth it in the end. I just finished my second time going through it and im recovering right now. I was 4′1 and now is 4′10. Im still going through a lot but I know Ill be better soon.

It is not quit true.. The procedure described above is the old method of limb lengthening! There are certain clinics such as http://www.betzinstitute.com , that has new and improved techniques of limb lengthening with the internal devises. Read up on it before jumping in to any procedure…

Not a scam, but not the way to do it, why go through such a painful procedure unless you were born with something like dwarfism and its really something you desire, only one team of docters i trust in the world to do this surgery, Dr. Standard and Dr. Paley
